After more than six years' construction, the Sino-Singapore Ecological City located in the Tianjin Binhai New Area has turned saline and alkaline land into green land.

The eight square kilometers of greenery have been completed, and the cartoon park, the Huifengxi Stream, the Ji Canal, and the Yongdingzhou Park will be completed soon.

With a total area of more than 30 square kilometers, the Sino-Singapore Ecological City is an experimental field constructed by the Chinese and Singaporean governments.

Before the construction, one third of the land was saline and alkaline land, another one third of the land was wasted saline land, and the last third was polluted water.Â
