The Tianjin Investment and Trade Fair and PECC International Trade and Investment Fair will be held from May 15 to 19 this year at the Tianjin Meijiang Conventional Centre.

 

This year's trade fair is different in four aspects, as revealed in the press conference.

 

The national strategies exerted great influence on this year's trade fair. Overseas exhibitors come from up to 12 countries and regions. Domestic exhibitors come from as many as 34 provinces, autonomous regions, and cities. The total number of exhibitors is expected to exceed 8,000 this year.

 

The trade fair structure has been optimized, with modern services, emerging manufacturing, and environmental protection taking up more than 60 percent of the total.

 

The trade fair will be streamlined, with no large scale opening ceremony or contract signing events. In addition, the reception will be simplified to meet government requirements.

 

The trade fair is going to drive the development of Tianjin in many aspects, and the total number of visitors is expected to reach 300,000.

 

The Tianjin Investment and Trade Fair have been launched for 21 years. It has become an important channel to attract domestic and international investment, a bridge connecting regional economic cooperation, and a platform presenting outstanding new products.
