Renaissance Tianjin Lakeview Hotel hosted “Korean Palace Cuisine Festival” Opening Ceremony and Korean Cultural Performance on the 17th of November 2015. In collaborating with the Korean Cultural Center, China, Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp., and Korea National University of Arts, this is their 3rd Korean Food festival.
Mr. Kim Jin-gon, the Director of Korean Cultural Center China joined the opening ceremony and delivered the address. The Korean Cultural Performance gave more than 800 audiences unprecedented experience through the combination of Korean traditional and modern culture.
The Opening Ceremony began with Korean traditional dance-the drum dance. The drumbeat and light effects gave audiences joyful atmosphere. The Korean singer brought traditional Korean solos. Moreover, a group of Korean dancers presented the beautiful fan dance. Last but not least, the musical Bibap is the first performance combining eating and entertainment. In this musical, making of the traditional Korean dish bibimbap becomes the main theme and is transformed into a non-verbal performance perfect for everyone’s taste. The musical Bibap made the atmosphere of the whole performance into the climax.
At the end of the party, Renaissance Tianjin Lakeview expressed the sincere appreciation to all the guests. The lucky draw winners had been given by a big surprise of the prizes, which were the room vouchers from Marriott Hotels in China and Korean.
