China and the US pledged 20 billion USD to fund trade and agreed to deepen financial ties, stepping up efforts to counter the credit crisis in their final economic talks, Bloomberg reported. The US agreed to a rapid approval process for Chinese financial institutions to invest in the country, the two nations said in a joint statement as the fifth round of the Strategic Economic Dialogue ended in Beijing on Friday.
