Greatwall have signed a deal with Tianjin’s economic zone which will see Great Wall build a new factory capable of producing 300,000 cars per year and attracting investment of 4.2 billion RMB
The new factory will be producing GWM’s B series of cars and high end SUV’s, and will be a fully functioning auto factory consisting of assembly and testing facilities.
Work on the 107 thousand square meter factory will begin in 2013 and by 2015 the factory will be expanded yet again to add more production capacity.
