The airport in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province, has reported massive flights cancellations and delays after nine airport workers have tested positive for COVID-19.
 

By 11 p.m. Tuesday, 105 flights at the Nanjing Lukou International Airport had been canceled and 151 had been delayed, the airport said. The airport was earlier scheduled to handle 405 inbound and outbound flights on Tuesday.
 

Local health authorities found positive results during the routine nucleic acid testing for airport workers. The workers were put under quarantine and tested again.
 

Nine airport workers had been found positive for COVID-19 by 6 p.m. Tuesday. More workers' samples were being tested.
 

一机场9份阳性！

7月20日上午，江宁区新冠肺炎疫情防控指挥部接禄口国际机场防疫专班报告，在禄口国际机场工作人员定期核酸检测样品中，有检测结果呈阳性，涉及工作人员主要是参与机场航班保障人员，包括地服、保洁等岗位人员。接报后，南京市第一时间组织力量对机场相关人员进行集中隔离，并重新采样检测。截至20日下午6时，已出结果中检测阳性9份，其他样品正在检测中。
 

情况况发生后，江苏省委省政府、南京市委市政府高度重视。省委省政府主要领导第一时间作出批示，要求从严快速做好各项防控措施。省政府随即召开全省电视电话会议进行部署。省市区防控指挥部迅即行动，组织开展流调追踪、隔离管控、核酸检测、医疗救治、环境消毒等工作，并向有关省、市发出协查通报，目前正在开展密切接触者追踪等疫情处置工作。后续相关情况将及时发布。
 

为了自己健康安全和疫情防控大局，请广大市民支持配合、严格管控，时刻保持个人防护意识。一旦出现发热、干咳、乏力等症状，应立即到就近的发热门诊就诊，并主动告知14天活动轨迹和接触史。就医途中全程佩戴口罩，避免乘坐公共交通工具。自即日起，从南京禄口机场出港的旅客必须持有48小时核酸检测阴性证明。
 

据了解，南京禄口国际机场20日计划起降航班405架次，截至20日23时，已取消105架次，延误151架次。
