Schools in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning Province, were suspended on Tuesday to prevent cluster infections. Dalian also required people to hold negative nucleic acid test reports within 24 hours before leaving the city, as it reported 100 new local infections ( including 45 confirmed cases and 55 silent carriers) within 5 days.

Officials in Dalian also suspended the operations of all companies in the frozen seafood and food supply chain amid a COVID-19 outbreak. It's not clear how long the suspension will last.
