Individuals will be awarded for their contribution as Good Samaritan if they stop domestic violence in East China's Jiangsu province from March 2022.
According to the province's Anti-Domestic Violence Regulation, physical, mental, sexual violence and financial control will all considered be as domestic violence.
As per the regulation, a mandatory reporting system will be applied in schools, kindergartens, medical institutions and social service departments, requiring them to report domestic violence and help the people in need.
Anybody that fails to report domestic violence will be punished in accordance with the regulation.
