The Chinese mainland on Wednesday reported 71 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, the National Health Commission said in its daily report on Thursday.
 

Of the new local cases, 63 were reported in Shaanxi, four in Guangxi, two in Henan, and one each in Zhejiang and Guangdong, the commission said.
 

Also reported were 29 new imported cases in nine provincial-level regions, according to the commission.
 

The epidemic prevention and control headquarters of Shenqiu County, Zhoukou City, Henan Province issued a notice today that four positive persons were found in nucleic acid testing in the county, belonging to Xi'an self driving back to Shenqiu. On the evening of the 22nd, the Public Security Bureau of Shenqiu County issued a notice: it decided to file a case for investigation against Xie Mouhuan and other four people suspected of obstructing the prevention and control of infectious diseases.
 

昨日新增本土病例71例

12月22日0—24时，31个省（自治区、直辖市）和新疆生产建设兵团报告新增确诊病例100例。其中境外输入病例29例（上海11例，广东8例，广西3例，江苏2例，天津1例，吉林1例，浙江1例，福建1例，云南1例），含1例由无症状感染者转为确诊病例（在浙江）；本土病例71例（陕西63例，均在西安市；广西4例，均在防城港市；河南2例，均在周口市；浙江1例，在绍兴市；广东1例，在东莞市）。无新增死亡病例。无新增疑似病例。
 

河南沈丘4名阳性人员涉嫌瞒报被立案侦查

经查，2021年12月18日21时许，谢某欢等4人在陕西省西安市已进行核酸采样结果待出的情况下，未执行西安市疫情防控措施，于当日22时许驾车离开西安，12月19日6时许回到沈丘。谢某欢等4人返乡后又不落实市县两级人民政府关于外省返乡人员确需返乡要提前3天向目的地所属行政村（社区）报备和居家隔离等疫情防控措施，且在流调人员调查时隐瞒相关情况，有引起新冠肺炎疫情传播的严重危险，沈丘县公安局决定对谢某欢等4人以涉嫌妨害传染病防治罪立案侦查。
