The Chinese mainland on Tuesday recorded 24 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, the National Health Commission said on Wednesday.
 

Of the new local infections, 14 were reported in Beijing, four in Heilongjiang, two in Xinjiang, and one each in Hebei, Liaoning, Henan, and Guangdong, according to the commission.
 

Beijing has classified two new areas as medium-risk for COVID-19, as the city reported 15 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases on Tuesday.
 

From 4 pm Monday to 4 pm Tuesday, 12 confirmed cases and three asymptomatic cases were reported in Beijing, according to Pang Xinghuo, deputy head of the municipal disease prevention and control center.
 

The city currently has one high-risk area and six medium-risk areas as a result of the latest resurgence.

天津市卫健委通报：2022年1月25日0－24时，天津市无新增本土新冠肺炎确诊病例，无新增本土无症状感染者。这是天津1月8日出现本轮本土疫情以来，首次出现0新增！天津市疾病预防控制中心副主任张颖昨天接受《新闻1+1》采访时表示，津南所有封控管控区有望除夕解封。
 

1月25日，北京新增14例本土确诊病例和5例无症状感染者。截至25日，北京疫情累计报告本土感染者67例，已波及丰台、西城、大兴、朝阳、海淀、房山6区，区域核酸筛查扩面提级。河北新增本土确诊病例1例，系保定涞水县正在居家健康监测的从北京丰台区务工返乡人员。
 

已发生过多起新冠疫情的口岸城市、黑龙江省绥芬河市再次出现本土疫情。绥芬河昨天深夜通报：流行病学调查初步判定绥芬河、东宁13名感染者为同一传播链条，虽然目前看传播链条比较清晰，仍存在着社区传播的风险。新疆昨天通报，基因测序结果显示，此次霍尔果斯市1月23日报告的2例无症状感染者的新冠病毒属于奥密克戎变异株。
 

此外，浙江杭州今早通报1例确诊病例，该病例行程涉药店、医院等。
