Tianjin will start its weekly COVID-19 test requirement in a bid to keep the virus in check from Aug 22, authorities announced on Sunday.
 

Citizens without a record of a nucleic acid test from within seven days will be assigned a yellow code on Tianjin health code system, the official notice said. A yellow code restricts access to some public venues.
 

Citizens can download the "Tianjin Digital Epidemic Prevention" APP to find nearby sampling points for free nucleic acid testing, use QR codes to collect nucleic acid samples, check test results, vaccination status, and show health codes when entering public places.
 

8月22日起，天津在全市范围内为市民提供常态化核酸检测服务

为及时监测发现新冠病毒隐匿传播风险，更好地维护广大人民群众生命安全和身体健康，巩固我市来之不易的新冠肺炎疫情防控成果，市疫情防控指挥部决定，现阶段从8月22日起，在全市范围内开展常态化核酸检测。
 

开展常态化核酸检测，有利于提高疫情监测预警灵敏性，织密疫情监测网，更早发现潜在的病毒传播风险，做到早发现、早控制。各区均设有便民核酸采样点，为群众提供更为便利快捷的核酸检测服务。各区将在有关媒体上发布我市所有常态化核酸检测采样点位，市民可根据各自方便选择采样地点。
 

我市将依托便民核酸采样点开展常态化核酸检测，以每7日作为一次常态化核酸检测的周期，期间为全市居民和在津人员免费提供一次核酸检测服务。
 

所有采样点均有统一标识，方便市民朋友们识别。届时市民朋友可以下载“天津数字防疫”APP，查找附近的采样点、查看免费核酸检测倒计时、使用二维码采集核酸样本、查询本人核酸检测结果、接种疫苗情况，以及进入公共场所出示健康码等。
 

对于无智能手机的老人和儿童，可由陪同人员通过“天津数字防疫”APP绑定家人后协助查询检测结果。
 

特别提醒广大市民，48小时内接种过新冠病毒疫苗的人员，暂缓进行核酸采样。
