A pandemic volunteer threw groceries personally bought by residents in Heilongjiang.
Video filmed in the city of Jiamusi in Heilongjiang Province on September 25 shows a volunteer opening a bag of rice and pouring it into a bin.
He then crushed a bag of eggs before throwing them into the bin.
The community employees found some residents personally got rice and eggs and thought the groceries had a risk of spreading the virus, so they decided to throw them.
The staff involved in the incident have been severely criticised and educated, and the relevant leaders have been held accountable.
