September 3, 2010 Held at Raffles Hotel, Opera Café Restaurant the food and wine tasting was a preview of what to expect from this year’s Food & Beverage celebration evening, a gathering of friends for a delicious meal and good wine. Conversations and laughs were the only thing you could ear while the selected guests tried the food for the event.

Starting with a brief welcome by the host Kitty Wang, General Manager of Tianjin Chapter European Union Chamber of Commerce in China. After introduction Ms. Wang nnvited all gests to try the buffet.

In the menu famous dishes from Italy, Germany, France, Ireland and more were displayed. The Italian beef and vegetables lasagna was a winner in the guests taste such as the chocolate opera cake for dessert. As for the wine, from Spain, both white and red were offered. 

Between the guests were representing people from some of the major European companies based in Tianjin such as Airbus and Ipsen.

The event to be held at Raffles Hotel’s ballroom in October 15 promises to be an unforgettable evening for all of Tianjin’s Expatriate community.
