The Jinjing City Suburban Railway is planned to be completed and opened to traffic in 2024. By then, Tuanbo West District, Jingwu Town and the central city will be accessible within 20 minutes.
The first section of the suburban railway from Tianjin Central City to Jinghai City starts from Jinghai District International Medical City Station in the south and is laid along Tuanbo Avenue and Ronghua Road. There are 3 stations in total, namely International Medical City Station, Tuanbo West Station, and Jingwu Station. Zhen Station, the terminal is connected to Jinghua Road Station of Metro Line 5, and runs through Metro Line 5. The total length of the line is about 13.4km. The maximum train speed is: 120km/h in the early and long term, and 160km/h in the long term.
