French utility GDF Suez SA (GSZ.FR) Tuesday said it has signed a partnership agreement with China's Tianjin Innovative Finance Co. Ltd to create two companies dedicated to the air conditioning services of its new financial centre in the Yujiapu district of Tianjin, integrating an energy efficiency and environmental approach.
MAIN FACTS:
- The first company will be in charge of building the works and bringing the energy offer commercially to the customers in the new district, GDF Suez said.
- The second company will be in charge of all the technical aspects involved with operating the cold network, it said.
- "The creation of these two companies marks the beginning of GDF Suez energy services' activities in Tianjin, where the Group is already present through Suez Environnement SA (SEV.FR), and already has more than a million water customers," the company said.
"With the decline in investors’ risk appetite, the commodities market may not have hit bottom yet,” said Cheung, 41. “Equities will be very good investments in the second half and next year.”
