Dow Chemical and Dragon Crown Group (0935.HK) plan to jointly form a US$200 million logistics center in Tianjin South Port Industrial Park, reports yicai.com, citing company filing. The 50-hectare project, Dow’s first chemical logistics center in China, will have direct access to a deep-water zone and railway systems with annual throughput capacity of between six and nine million tons. The center will employee 300 people, the source added.
Dragon Crown is an integrated terminal service provider specializing in the storage and handling of liquid chemical products. It is headquartered in Wanchai, Hong Kong.
