Three astronauts who had fulfilled China's first manned space docking mission will meet media on Friday, two weeks after their safe return to Earth.
Â
Liu Yang, China's first woman astronaut, together with veteran astronaut Jing Haipeng and crewmate Liu Wang, returned to Earth on June 29 following the successful docking between the Shenzhou-9 spacecraft and the Tiangong-1 space lab module on June 24.
Â
The astronauts were sent into space aboard the Shenzhou-9 on June 16 from a launch center in northwest China's Gobi desert.
They also conducted a series of scientific tests during the 13-day space flight.Â
