Tianjin is in short supply of qualified personnel for the municipality's 258 various jobs in 16 industries, according to a catalog released by the Tianjin Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security.
The 16 industries listed in the catalog are: aviation and space, petrochemical engineering, equipment manufacturing, electronics, biomedicine, new energy and new material, light and textile industry, municipal engineering, automobile, metallurgy, culture and sports, finance, tourism and hotel management, logistics, exhibition and real estate.
Biomedicine and equipment manufacturing are at the top of the much-needed personnel catalog, the Bureau said after conducting a survey.
Officials with the Bureau said they will work harder on training skillful workers and professionals as well as creating a better living and work environment to attract more people to work in Tianjin.
